We have our eyes on Florida

Florida has thousands of traffic cameras across the state to monitor the roads and highways. The Our Law Firm has set up a video command center in Miami that monitors and records video footage (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) to make sure we can access potential evidence for our personal injury clients.

People who've been hurt in a motor vehicle accident will need to focus on their medical treatment and recovery in the days following the crash.

This is why it's so important to contact The Our Law Firm in Miami so we can handle the investigation and video footage recovery.

The Value of Evidence From Traffic Cameras

Even though a traffic camera, or red-light camera may have captured a motor vehicle accident in Florida, that does not mean the individual or entity that owns the camera is obligated to provide the recording. Traffic cameras can record a wide range of information that can be used to establish fault when a crash occurs at an intersection.

Recordings from these devices can be used to show that a driver was speeding, driving distracted, ran a red light, driving aggressively, or performed an illegal turn.

Impartial and secure, video recordings are among the most reliable forms of evidence following a motor vehicle collision in Florida.

Who's at fault?

If there is no video camera footage available, drivers will typically try to blame one another for the car accident. Your attorney would then need to determine who was at fault by counting on things like eyewitness statements, police reports, examining the points of collision, etc. But when your attorney has clear video footage showing the other driver was at fault for the crash, it can go a long way in convincing the other party's insurance (or a judge) that you weren't at fault and you're owed compensation.

Help in a Crisis

Following a traumatic event, people often feel helpless, confused, and experience emotional shock. They are confronted with a situation for which they are totally unprepared.

Often there is no one available in the immediate aftermath of a tragedy to guide the victims through these difficult hours. The TIP volunteer provides this necessary temporary support until persons involved in the crisis are able to depend on family, friends, neighbors, and other resources in the community.
